Denver had just been granted an expansion and we were
on our way to see two of the first three games played
at the Rockies Mile High Stadium
March 28, 1993 - April 11, 1993
Imagine, we really have two weeks before a ball game. Well, a side trip
helped to relieve the tension. After a flight to Las Vegas and a couple of days
helping to pay the casinos' electric bills we headed out towards (??) Denver.
Off we go to Hoover Dam, Grand Canyon, Sedona, Phoenix (pre-season cactus league game),
Nogales (Mexico),
Tombstone City, White Sands,
Carlsbad Caverns, Sky City Indian village, Four Corners National Monument,
Colorado Ski Resorts and finally Denver.
